Recovery’s philosophy embraces an individual’s capacity for change and personal transformation. “Recovery is a process, different for each person,” says H. Westley Clark, M.D., J.D., M.P.H., Director of SAMHSA’s Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT).
